Why partner
with City to Sea
Why partnering with us opens up an ocean of opportunity
We have been working with a range of organisations and brands since our very beginning. We not only work with companies in a mutually beneficial way- to enable long term systemic change both for our oceans and our audiences- but for the companies that we work with also.
We recognise that we can’t tackle the plastic pollution problem on our own, it requires us to work collaboratively with others to make the most meaningful change possible. We’re ambitious and like to work with organisations that share our mission!
Our campaigns are designed to change the world, encourage activism and improve the condition of our planet for future generations to enjoy. From our work with Plastic Free Periods, education school children on their periods and the environmental impact of flushing behaviours, to encouraging large scale conglomerates to include reuse and refill in their sustainability promises.
Our Partners in Action
We have worked with companies such as Mooncup, Tulipshare and Cheeky Wipes to help remove plastic from our planet, from the lobbying power of shareholders calling out Coca-Cola to promoting the benefits of environmentally friendly period products.
Shareholder Activism with Tulipshare
We have partnered with the shareholder activist platform to radically transform the ways in which large scale corporations use plastic within their supply chains. Utilising shareholder power, Tulipshare campaign from within, pushing corporates to actively include reuse and refill within their sustainability targets. We have recently promoted their campaign calling out McDonald’s and will be working with them to push for change at Coca Cola- no mean feat!
Stopping Period Plastic with MoonCup
Our work with Mooncup has helped to save millions of pieces of plastic from entering our waterways, encouraging consumers to make the step away from purchasing big brand period products to a more sustainable, long term option. A key element of our partnership has been to encourage behaviour change around flushing behaviour in schools and beyond- educating teachers and students on the impact that flushing tampons and other period products down the loo has on our water ways. Mooncup have paved the way for other period brands, having joined the environmental movement within the period product space for 20 years.
TOGETHER WE’RE MUCH MORE POWERFUL
We’re a dynamic and fast-growing not-for-profit campaigning to stop plastic pollution at source. We do this by awakening active hope, championing practical solutions and inspiring collective action. But we can’t do it alone – we need a team of like-minded partners, like you, to work hand-in-hand with us.
